Our Mission:

Carpenter’s Tools International (CTI Music Ministries) is the official at large music ministry for Youth for Christ International.  We are a non-profit ministry organization based in Willmar, Minnesota.  For over 25 years, CTI has provided quality music and drama outreaches, working alongside established ministries in over 50 countries across the globe.

Statement of Mission:        
God has called Carpenter's Tools International to reach every young person possible with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Statement of Vision:
We recruit, train, and send music teams to work with established Christian ministries world-wide.  We do this by modeling the example of Jesus Christ in love, servanthood, diversity and unity, using the most effective, creative and culturally appropriate methods.  We challenge all Christians to join us in our mission of reaching every young person.

Long-term Impact through Short-term Outreaches:
CTI’s goal is to create long-term impact for Christ’s kingdom though short-term outreaches.  Each of our teams spends approximately a month in partner outreach with Youth for Christ International or YWAM (Youth With a Mission) in one or more of the 50+ countries we have visited.  Concerts are held in public schools, prisons, orphanages, street corners, churches and anywhere our host ministry is at work.  These concerts contain drama, the sharing of personal faith stories, Gospel presentation, and of course, lots of modern, exciting music.

Our short-term involvement enables our host ministry to reach out to youth in a different and exciting way.  Our goal is to serve the Lord by serving our host ministry and enabling them to have a greater, more effective outreach to the youth they encounter on an ongoing basis.  In countries where we return year after year, we create long-term buy-in with young people.  They see our interaction with them as an on-going relationship, not just a missions project.

Partnership with the local church:
As we travel across the U.S. and parts of Canada during the school year, our goal is to encourage and equip youth and adults to get involved in ministry and world missions.  CTI seeks to engage the church in North America and invite people to join us in ministry to the thousands of international youth that the Lord is reaching through CTI each year!

We offer a modern worship experience, tailored to the needs of the local church, and we offer engaging programs for youth groups and high school chapel services.  We also seek to equip the local church worship ministry through our many years of experience in assembling music missions bands.
